Maintenance
Used regularly during the pasture season, the Fuerst Harrow will stimulate grass growth and spread manure, insuring better fertilization, faster decomposition, and better control of parasites. |
|
|
Smoothing
The Fuerst Harrow, operated with tines down, will fluff and aerate the surface, fill in hoof prints and rough spots, and leave a smooth, loose surface perfectly suited for safe riding and training. |

Renovation, Overseeding

Drying
When surfaces are wet and compacted, they can quickly be put into riding condition by using the Fuerst Harrow with the tines down. After the surface is dry, going over it gain with the tines up will put the surface in safe training and riding condition. |

Fertilization
After applying fertilizer, operating the Fuerst F-l-e-x-i-b-l-e Tine Harrow® will provide faster fertilizer penetration. Livestock can be turned back to pasture sooner. Harrowing also reduces the chance of burning the herbage if the grass is wet when fertilized. Often the Fuerst Harrow can be pulled behind the fertilizer spreader for one-trip coverage. |
